You always make really interesting questions here! Hmm this time around I guess I never really thought about it. I have a bunch of pre-conceptions about how dynamics in the ships I like work and most of that have to do with headcanon.

Regarding their future and stuff, I guess I want them all to grow up and old together and keep loving each other lol (this is for most of my pairings, like Touya/Shindou, Chie/Yukiko, Riku/Sora) but also to realize their dreams and share them together (like Zoro/Sanji and Chiaki/Nodame) for some of them that ended sort of tragically, I'd like to see them reunited lol (omg like Kamina/Yoko/Kittan!?!?) but in conclusion, basically being together forever and loving each other.

If you'd like something more specific, I'm sure once Zoro becomes the best swordsman in the world, he will be Sanji's bouncer at the restaurant he opened in All Blue >.> ...that was sort of embarrassing.

LOL Zoro, a bouncer! Well, at least no one will try to get past him, since you know, the best swordsman in the world title might intimidate them and he would get rid off all the unlucky drunks who would be stupid enough to try to make a ruckus in the restaurant XD
