Houtarou/Chitanda from Hyouka is the most recent one I can think of. Most of the time I ship first then turn into broship so this is rare for me, but for these two I kinda disliked Chitanda immensely from the start since I found her really pushy and annoying. Recent episodes mellowed her out though to the point that I found her endearing, and seeing how they interact sometimes make me ship them slightly. Probably not to the point that I'll search for anything about them, but enough that I could totally see them getting together.

i never thought i'd ship masato and tomo from utapri -- until the manga came along. also break and charlotte from pandora hearts though thaaaaat's mostly rp's fault.

Hikaru and Haruhi from Ouran! I used to REAAAAALLY dislike that pairing because in the beginning, it felt too forced to me? I just didn't like the dynamics at all. But by the time I got to volume 13/14 and Hikaru grew up a bit, it became one of my super favorites. :'| By the end of the series, it made me sad and bawl and have FEELINGS.

Kotetsu/Barnaby from Tiger & Bunny! I didn't think I'd like it since it was starting to look like the that one overly popular pairing that was forced down the viewers throats... and it kinda was but it still kinda grew on me? Like their partnership-dynamic in the show and character development throughout just made me a total sucker for the pair. :3

Phoenix/Maya from Ace Attorney. At first they were mostly like a brother-sister team or at least really close friends who've been through a lot together, but looking back, I think they have the potential to become lovers. But I like every aspect of their relationship. I can see it as completely platonic, or developing into something more.

I was actually more inclined to ship Edgeworth/Kay in terms of attorney/assistant relationships but the fact that she compares him to her father sank that ship and cemented them as platonic. So this is a case of a pairing I never thought I'd never ship? Also, RP. RP made me see that they're more of friends/not!siblings. Possibly not!dad-not!daughter as time goes by.

I never thought I'd ship Phoenix with Franziska and that the only reason for me to do so was because the amount of innuendo that happened during JFA was too much. But a certain person in this game who will not be named made me write a few ficlets and there it went. Also it's fun to think of how to make it work, even if I think it should never work because they would be horrid to each other. So what's my excuse for shipping Edgeworth/Franziska? IDK.

Oh and Ren/Natsuki because someone I know convinced me that it has potential to be really horrid and traumatizing for the rest of Starish.

... basically all you need to do to make me ship things is to make me realize how much potential for horrid a ship has.

I'd have to agree with the HikaHaru pairing. I hated the thought of anyone but Kaoru being close to Hikaru, but Haruhi wasn't so bad with him. They kind of grew together, especially that date episode in the rain.

Motochika/Ieyasu until I read that hot doujin of totto aka kyuugo. When I played Motochika's path the bromance hurt my eyes, it was beatiful I love that relationship of old friends and when Ieyasu says "Oh long time no see Motochika!" he calls him for his first name ;--; /shoots herself

However it's Kyuugo's fault (with those steamy fanarts) that I ship them romantically....!

Tidus/Yuna from FFX. I used to hate Tidus because he's an idiot but the moment he started interacting with Yuna (who is the sweetest thing ever) I found myself shipping them, their dynamics are just so cute sdlfkhsd

Omg guys, don't judge me okay, but the pairing I never thought I would be into until I saw really beautiful and convincing fanart was Kakashi/Sakura from Naruto, pffft /runs away
No, but really, I never thought I would like an het paring for that fandom, let alone a teacher/student one with a huge age gap ...where did my morals go....

Yousuke/Rise is also one of those pairings I never thought I would be into until someone mentioned it and I was like "....this makes sense" though I really wish there was more fan media for these two? I haven't seen all that much around, sadly.

Anyone/Aerith from Final Fantasy VII. I absolutely loathed her as a kid playing that game, and it took me a few years to realize it was because she "got in the way" of Cloud/Tifa. But upon replaying the game I may not ship Cloud/Aerith, but I definitely ship Zack/Aerith. I think that Zack had a lot of strong feelings for her that were transferred to Cloud when he was all messed up in the head.

I don't know... um.. Ichigo/Orihime from Bleach. I don't know why though, it's just kind of weird to me.

I ship Orihime/Ulqqi WAY more. *nod*

Well, for starters, I never never in my life would have imagined that I would ship Gilgamesh/Saber/Lancer. When I was reading/watching Fate/Zero I started to like Lancer/Saber in a platonic way, but then Gilgamesh showed interest in Saber and I was like "Hmm I kind of like this~" and I started to like Gilgamesh/Saber. But then I looked at fanart with the 3 of them and I started to think "Oh, this looks good~!" and now here I am XD.

I also would have never thought I would like Renji/Rukia in a romantic way so much, but I ended up liking them more than any other pairing in Bleach :3

Ulquiorra/Orihime from Bleach, I guess. I disliked Orihime a bit after the stunt she pulled during that arc, but seeing her and Ulquiorra being...tragically adorable together kinda paid for it. I really want Ulquiorra to reincarnate and meet her again QwQ

Oh, and Zoro/Luffy from One Piece. I used to ship Zoro/Sanji like...everybody else. But after reading more, especially during Water 7, and then the incident with Kuma, and also the Time Skip... Well, let's just say that I tarzan-ed my way from one ship to another, Jack Sparrow style XD

Hmmm there's only pairing I'm surprise I like. I don't really ship them mind you (though I do like them and everything, I just don't actively seek out fanarts/fics about them). I like Sasuke/Hinata from Naruto, which surprises me, because for me Sasuke is too blinded to everything but one thing. His brother, and I think Naruto has a huge spot in his heart-which is why Sasuke/Naru is one of my main ships.

But I read a story with Itachi/Naruto (I whore poor Naruto out-he just fits so well with everyone!) with the side pairing of Sasuke/Hinata. I wasn't expecting it, but it was really well done and I kind of fell in love with them as a side pairing. That's literally the only woman I like Sasuke with.

Hmm I guess Hinagawa and Adachi in Yankee-kun to Megane-chan. I think it's a fairly obvious pairing in a way, but I never really paid much attention to them together as a couple until waaay later in the manga, then, I was begging for it!!

Besides that one, I guess Lyon and Juvia from Fairy Tail haha, I kind of had them both jumping onto the Grey boat, but then I kind of thought they would get along well.
