Survey Time!
I hope you aren't tired of seeing me around, but I promise this is the last update I make this week! Please read this, it's important!
This time around I'm bringing up a couple of issues and ideas Joyce and I have been discussing in the past month to see if we can improve the community even more and make it as fun as we can for the players!
I'm not sure if you have noticed but we've had two kinda serious issues in the past couple of months: one would be an activity decline (some players have gone inactive, others have quit) and as a consequence of this, every month deck donations decrease more (thought other factors have affected donations, too). Don't get nervous, we still have enough activity to keep going, but we have thought about some new ideas that can make things better in the long run. These are some of the ideas we have:
-To prevent activity decline, perhaps we can integrate new games in our repertoire. I would prefer to avoid over complicated games, but I'm open to suggestions if anyone has any!
-Perhaps we can up referral rewards to encourage players to invite others or make temporary special offers to tentative new players to interest them into joining. Please tell me your opinion on this, it is a good idea or not?
-Lastly, regarding the lower number of donations we've getting, the idea we've considered the most is spacing out the releases to one release every two months. We have thought about this mostly for two reasons: it will give players a bigger time-span to collect the decks they have in higher priority so they can concentrate on new decks every two months, and if we start getting more donations later, this idea might prevent the TCG from growing too big, too fast now that we're almost reaching our first year as an active TCG.
Of course, this big change will bring up other changes: if it's accepted, this new release system will be implemented immediately. This means this month's donations will be released in two months (in this case, in the first week of April) instead of next month.
Additionally, players will get more donations slots monthly and of course, more release slots a well. Please give us your thoughts on this as it is really important and we'll make a decision based on the opinions we get.
For your opinion, you can pick a choice card! please tell me in your comment what you took.
This entry is open until February 23rd! Thanks in advance for the feedback~ CLOSED!

Personally I don't think raising referral rewards would discourage others from trying to get friends to join, I just don't know how much more of a motivator it would be either? I would think getting a friend to play with you is the reward, and the referral prize is kind of like a bonus anyhow ^^
I kind of like the idea of bi-monthly releases, provided the release is open to claim from until the next one, and isn't just open for the first month? Mainly because I know for me personally I may get distracted and miss a release... but if it's open longer then it feels like there's a bit more room to breathe in terms of filling the slots/claiming prizes/figuring out what you want to collect in the first place.
Anyway I know me personally I plan on getting my activity up from now on. Mainly because I just started reading the Heart no Kuni no Alice manga and I have a burning desire to collect all the pairings now. ...so I have a lot of work to do X3c
Taking kishi04 now I know I need to get more active, did I finally just now finish the deck I listed on my application OTL
