UPDATE - New Rules Pt.1

Hello Pairings players! I bring you here the first part of the rules we're changing starting August 1st. We're still revising things so keep in mind these are not the only rules that will be changed, we just decided to post these as soon as possible as we feel they are the most pressing matters at the moment. The next set of rules will probably be posting on the first week of August, thank you so much for your patience with us.
These rules have already been added/changed in the respective posts and site sections! Please read the whole entry and if you have questions about these new rules, feel free to voice them on the comments.

1. Having your logs in comments or with images instead of text won't be acceptable. The reason we decided on this is because it makes checking logs really time-consuming and difficult. Most services require the mod in charge to check players logs and he or she usually uses the search function from the broswer, but since comments collapse after there are a big number, mods will have to expand comments and that will definitely slow them down. With images, it's impossible to use the search fuction and that makes it harder for the mods to ensure you've completed a certain task or have all the cards for a mastery.

2. Starting this month, we'll be accepting only 2 deck donations per player. This is a significant cut, I know, but considering the amount of players who recently joined, it's the solution we came up with to make sure the deck list doesn't grow up too quickly and deckmakers don't overwork themselves during the month to complete all the decks on time. (Note: players can asks others to donate decks for them if they wish to do so)

3. When donating decks, Please make sure to check the decklist to ensure your deckname suggestion hasn't been used yet. Also, double check your zips so there aren't repeated images.

Additionally, I haven't checked players logs, but I want to remind everyone that the rules at the trading achievement require players to number or count the trades! So just in case, make sure you're doing this to make the Trading Achievement's mod's work easier.

Lastly, I want to make a note on the fact that an administrator from another TCG is putting together a TCG Wiki page where she lists everything related to TCGs, including players. If you wish to contribute, feel free to sign up! The page is here. Some of you might be listed on the Wiki already. Please know that we didn't have previous notification about players from Pairings being listed here! If you prefer to not be listed, I have contacted Sheva asking what you can do in those cases, I'll edit this post later to add that information! EDIT: I was informed that it's possible to leave messages at the Wiki so you can opt out there or you can also contact Sheva through her email: loveloveburd@gmail.com

EDIT 2: It seems that some of the players are hotlinking cards from the Pairings server in their card posts, this is against the rules! if it's impossible for you to find your own server to upload the cards, please use our mirror, don't hotlink from the website.

That's all this time around! Please keep an eye out for the second part of this update which will be posted next week.
