With an exciting year of popular games being made into exciting new animes, we're going to discuss the topic a bit!

This round's discussion is...

"Is there any anime that you think would make a great game? If so, what kind of game would it be? Or vice versa! What other games would you like to see as an anime?"
(Example: I demand a Project ~~Gay~~ K videogame where you play as Misaki (or any of the main charas rly) and it's an RPG/Action game where you beat up people while also raising date sim points with various characters. I also want a Mass Effect shoujo anime because it'd be hilarious.

Well, technically it's gotten a few episodes as a special already, but a full anime of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon would just be amazing. I wouldn't want it to replace the current Pokemon anime though.

Also, speaking of rougelikes, Fairy Tail seems like it'd be a really good one.

Ughhh I would so love to see a full Pokemon Mystery Dungeon anime. It would be so cute and ughhhhh YES PLEASE.

And oh man a Fairy Tail roguelike sounds like it'd be ridiculously fun. DGDFGD UGHH NOW I WANT ONE RIGHT NOW.

An anime for Kingdom Hearts, because the mangas are fucking adorable, so why not an anime too?! ~~also i could hear Riku's voice in japanese /swoon Mamo~~

Hmm... well, I think they should turn Fire Emblem into an anime. Any of the games. And there could be user polls to see who should pair up or who should die, which would be... kind of depressing, actually.

And they need to make Beelzebub into a Kenka Banchou-style game. It would be AMAZING.

Fire Emblem anime ughh. I don't know if I could handle all the heartbreak. It was bad enough in the game the first time I played and Leila died. But an anime with hot animation would be amazing. ...And I'd prolly still watch because I'm a glutton for punishment. ;___;

I don’t play many games but I do like puzzle games though they are not very interesting to make anime out of and they already made a movie for Layton xD
So maybe they should make an anime for 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors think that would turn out pretty interesting.
Or they should make a puzzle game that has the same concept as the Liar Game, that seems pretty interesting.

Off the top of my head, I would say Fate/Zero could make a good game? I heard there is a one coming out for mobile phones but I'd rather have it on a gaming console. It would be a mix between a fighting and visual novel-ish game or something. There would be many characters to choose from for the player and the story could go in a lot of ways in a hypothetical game (not considering its sequel obviously because then F/Z can only end one way), and honestly, I'd just play it so that everyone get's a good ending. D:

Honestly, if we never get a Fate/Zero game for the console I'd be so disappointed it seems like SO PERFECT. But gosh it'd make a great action/jrpg sort of game I think? And visual novel mixed in would be so SDFSDFSFS FOAMS @ THE MOUTH. And the chance to play so many different characters and different storylines and dfsdfsfs

i would love it if mawaru penguindrum could get a video game. i think it'd be pretty cool.. uwu like it could be a mystery/adventure game trying to find the penguindrum and learning more about the story and the characters. or it could even be an RPG au where himari is an actual princess but she's ill so kanba and shoma have to go out on a journey to find the penguindrum which can cure her.. and they meet everyone else along the way. i just really love penguindrum!!

A mystery/adventure mawaru penguindrum game would be amazing. You can play as the siblings (maybe Himari in a newgame+ or something) AND YOU DATESIM EVERYONE. JUST DATESIM EVERYONE.

For an anime, I would love to see the first three Suikoden games especially the second game. I wouldn't mind seeing an actual Tokimeki Memorial anime based off of one of the games that's not the original Tokimemo, like Tokimeki Memorial 2 or one of the Girl's Side games.

I can't really think of an anime that I would like to see turned into a video game, since most of the animes I really like already have video games. Maybe Yoroiden Samurai Troopers in the style of the Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage or Dynasty Warriors Gundam games.

I have a few friends that I know would prolly explode into a puddle of glitter, rainbows, and puppies if they found out about a Tokimeki anime. They loved the games so much (I never got a chance to play sadly) that I think it could make a great anime.

HAHA Yoroiden Samurai Troopers in the style of Dynasty Warriors Gundam is too perfect in my head. It's such a good marriage of two great series omg.

A lot of Anime get spinoff games u_u so I can't think of one. I think a Black Jack surgery/visual novel game (like Phoenix Wright meets Trauma Center) would be cool.

Ohhh yes! That sounds like a super cool game. Especially if it was like Trauma Center (and mixed with Pheonix Write) it would be SO GOOD OH MAN.

DANGIT ANOTHER GAME I WANT.

Well, the game that I really think would work well as an anime (Dangan Ronpa) is getting one, so...! I guess a Medaka Box fighting game would be interesting. There are so many crazy powers in that series that it'd be neat to see how it translated to the sort of format where you had to pull them off yourself.

OH MAN. With crazy hot fighting and power animation, Medaka Box would be great as an anime omg. WHY HASN'T THIS BEEN DONEEEEE?

I actually thought Magi would be quite a good candidate for a game since it's structured through dungeons and stuff... You could recruit djinns a la Persona or something! Though I'm not very far in the manga and I believe they move away from the dungeons thing but still!

While I'm not far in the manga myself, I think this is a super great concept DFGDFGD. LIKE UGHH ALL THE RPG ELEMENTS YOU COULD USE IN MAGI AND MAKE IT INTO A FANTASTIC ADVENTURE GAME/DUNGEON CRAWLING AMAZE.

About games that would be cool as anime, PHOENIX WRIGHT! It got a live-action recently, so I think they should just take the last step and go anime, it would be soooo great, I'm sure!

And like Chianna and Ayay mentioned above, 999 anime and Tokimemo Girls Side would make me the happiest woman on earth, no joke~

I think there's a tokimemo anime, but I don't think it's a girl's side. I would be freaking AWESOME if there was one though!

Man, I'll agree with the Beelzebub banchou style battle game and the Magi RPG! I'd totally play those two. Throwing in a Mai Hime battle game in because I can :'D

As for games turned into anime... I guess I'd love to see an ICO anime although it'd probably be extremely weird. And this is pretty out there but a kodomo Katamari Damacy anime? THAT'S SOMETHING I'D WATCH. Or like a Katamari-Mameshiba crossover xD

I agree 100% with Ico and Katamari! Actually I was gonna say Katamari should have an anime XD and the crossover idea omg!! I imagine the tiny prince rolling a mameshiba in a field of mameshibas... There should be a mameshiba cousin!

I think Dennou Coil would make a good videogame. It would like a mystery/sci-fi/adventure maybe. I would also loooove a Fate/Zero fighting game and a Giant Killing dating sim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Actually, I DEMAND a Giant Killing dating sim!

I know the other half of the crossover got a couple of games, but I always thought some sort of game based around xxxHolic would be neat. Whether just a visual novel retelling of the manga or something to that effect might be cool.

I think that Tiger & Bunny also have a few PSP games that'd be nice to play and see how people become NEXT or level up their powers, but who knows, maybe we'll see them one day?

I def agree a Kingdom Hearts anime should happen, I'm actually kind of surprised it hasn't been done yet considering how much Square Enix loves its merchandising, haha.

I only ever see small clips at the Tokyo Game Shows, but I would be pretty psyched to see a Phoenix Wright anime. Especially for all the in-between gaps from the games. :3
