Simon Says 78 new week for Cupid is a go!

Everyone gather around! This is Simon Says, and what Simon Says must be done. It's simple really. Simon says something-you go and do it.

For bringing Simon what he wants, you will lose the card(s) (he donates them to the poor, over in the Singles' Claims) but you will be paid compensation for it! You will receive 2 random cards in return for bringing him his desired cards!

(A friendly reminder to PLEASE list out the card name when you donate, just in case images get messed up, thanks!)

(Another quick note; Cupid is open for more donations so feel free to submit another card. *You may donate once a week, donation limits reset on Fridays, when the new round of Simon Says is posted*)

This week, Simon wants a card that features a 'Mon'. As Pokemon X/Y drop within the next 24 hours, your job is to distract Simon here with a Pokemon. (A Pokemon Trainer will also suffice for this round.) If you don't have either a Pokemon or Pokemon Trainer, I will accept a Digimon or Chosen Child/Digidestined as well.

No matter what you donate or your preferences on Pokemon, almost everyone has a favorite Pokemon, type, trainer, etc? Simon's curious and would love to know what your favorite Pokemon/type/trainer (pick one, two or all) is. (Since the Gen 6 games are only coming out right now, please do not mention any Pokemon, trainers or locations that have not already been revealed on the main Pokemon websites to avoid spoilers, thanks!)

My favorite Pokemon type is Electric, hands down. If I were a trainer I would be like Lt. Surge only less lieutenant-y, for real.

Also, my favorite type is, was, and probably always will be Ghost. B) I do so love my undead babies, and I like pretty much every single one of the Ghost-type trainers in all the games, too!

It's totally cool, all mons accepted. Ghost have some really cool moves there too.

As for types, I've always loved psychics, with electric, fire, and dark also being high up on the list.

as for types idk? i guess i've been most fond of water & fire types? (complete opposites, i know) dark is right up there as well. and i think i'm gonna love the new fairy types

Opposite types can get great reactions in battle though!

I don't really play the Pokemon games but I guess the types I like tend to be either grass or electric.

Both are cool types and yep, the Pokemon games aren't for everyone, glad you have a couple of favorite types though.

also, my favorite pokemon type is ice! i think ice types are so pretty and even though they're hard to work with they can be really great if you train them right!

I actually don't know much about the series aside from the first season of the anime + movie but I remember I really liked charmeleon and charizard, scyther and i do like a few more but I dont remember the names. Because it was just the anime, the types never really mattered to me? I mean if you play the game, it actually makes a difference and shapes your preference. So in the end, I dont really have a favourite type either, i'm afraid, but I am sure I'd like the dark types a lot because they look cool enough, lol.

I think my favorite types are steel and fighting. Steel for its defense and fighting for its offense, plus I'm fond of several of the Pokemon in each type.

Yep, both of those types have great defense and offense as well.

I don't really have a favorite type, but my favorite pokemon has always been and probably will always be Eevee and it's evolutions. I have an especially soft spot for Flareon, but tbh I love each and every single Eeveelution--I'm super excited for Sylveon as well!

Eevee and its evolutions are great pokemon~

I love Fire and Plant types, mostly because I'm shallow and they have some of the prettiest/cutest Pokemon from the earlier generations, but also their attacks are just badass.

Fire and Plants, each enemies and yet, also amazing.

My favorite type has been grass ever since Red/Green and I almost always choose the grass starter (I think the only exception was Oshawott, and I'm going with Fennekin in X) but grass has lost its place to fairy. I've always loved the cutest Pokemon the most! I'll still always love grass, though.
