"Do you have a favourite Voice Actor? If so, what is your favourite roll/character that was voiced by him/her? Is there a particular reason this VA is your favourite? If you don’t have one, is there a voice actor that you see repeatedly in the series you’re watching? What VA and in which series? "

(Example: Personally, I like Kenichi Suzumura as a voice actor, and I'm also quite fond of Akira Ishida. They are both kind of my favourites because they tend to voice my favourite characters (which kind of shocked me). Personally I loved Suzumura as Lavi my husband from D.Gray-Man and Ishida is amazing as Katsura my dork from Gintama.)

miyuki sawashiro, hands down. i think i first heard her as celty in drrr but she won me over immediately when she voiced franziska von karma in the aai trailer AND HAS SINCE THEN BECOME QUEEN. when you voice the character i soulbond over, i soulbond 2 u. and i love way too many of her roles since then, though i often gravitate to her sexy onee-san ones cause that's generally my type

runner up though is definitely saori hayami who i've grown to love since oreimo. she's risen quite a fair bit and I HAVE A SOFT SPOT FOR HER. she does the haughty tsundere type well and i will always root for her should she voice a girl in a harem

HAHA man i know i've written this answer before but i have many favorite seiyuus in general though. i can't watch an anime without pausing and being like I KNOW THAT VOICE... WHO IS THAT VOICE!??? so i also want to shout out aki toyosaki, kanae ito, yukana, fukuyama jun (mainly because he's such a loveable ham), nobuhiko okamato, hosoya yoshimasa, kamiya hiroshi, kousuke toriumi... my top 10

edit: also i've been playing tokimeki a lot recently and that game features a lot of everyone's favorite seiyuus (suzimura, ishida, nakai, junichi, etc...) what's great for me is that i have a one syllable name in real life so i can make them actually pronounce my real name AND IT'S SO FUN, IT ACTUALLY FEELS LIKE THEY'RE CALLING OUT TO ME. it is truly the greatest piece of seiyuu fanservice to exist

What is Tokimeki...oh gosh I need to do some research on this. But I agree, Miyuki Sawashiro has a great voice and does amazing roles! AND I DO THE SAME THING. I have stopped animes, because it bugged me so much that I knew the voice but couldn't place it. Then I sought series they were voiced in after a bit...just because why not?

I'm a seiyuu fan for sure!! I love Akira Ishida. He's Gaara in Naruto, Xerxes in Pandora Hearts and Nagi from Mai Hime are my favorite roles of him, but he has a bunch I love!! I can definitely recognize his voice without knowing it's him doing the role. Besides him there's Koyasu Takehito, another seiyuu I can recognize by ear only. He's Fool in Kaleido Star, Dio Brando in the new Jojo, Sarutobi Sasuke from Sengoku Basara among others!

Finally my super ultra seiyuu husbando NAKAMURA KOICHI-SAMA (omg did I just really write that?) I really love pretty much all of his roles that I've heard. My first favorite was Abe from Ookiku Furikabutte, but his role in Hyouka and Ore no Imouto are just ♥!

I approve. This is why I like you besides you being nice and junk. I am not the greatest at picking up voices by ear but Ishida surprises me to be honest. I didn't expect Gaara to be Break or Katsura. The man surprises me, actually all seiyuus surprise me.

I'm super fond of Mamoru Miyano (I love his voice, plus he's super sweet, plus his blog looks like it's written by a hyperactive fifteen year old girl which is hilarious). There are many more, though mostly I want to mention Yuki Kaji, Takahiro Sakurai, Miyuki Sawashiro and Megumi Ogata (it's virtually impossible to watch an anime from the 90s that she didn't have a role in, haha).

Also I can't not say Kenichi Suzumura and Maaya Sakamoto. They're both so adorable and I was so happy when they announced they got married a few years ago ♥

My best friend is in love with Mamoru Miyano so I get to hear him a lot. I'm really bad with seiyuu's to be honest, but I recognize Miyuki Sawashiro and Megumi Ogata..they sound familiar. And it was cute when they got married, I was really happy when I heard that.

Ah, the seiyuu question~ It's a tie between Nakai Kazuya and Yoshino Hiroyuki! I love them both for very different reasons. Starting with Nakai, he's one of those seiyuus who has made watch animes just because he was in them (Hataraki Man, for instance) and he made me want to keep watching animes that I did not like for the same reason (il mio marito, AKA, Marito-tai was the only reason why I watched six episodes of Aldnoah.Zero). He has voiced some of my favorite characters like Zoro from One Piece, Hijikata from Gintama, the Doumekis, the infamous Salamander from Azazel-san (I mean seriously the guy is despicable, but the voice acting was perfect!) and, more recently for me, Miles from FMA: Brotherhood.

Yoshino was the first seiyuu I learned to recognize by ear. We go way back in my anime watching history and I just love his voice. He has also made me watch animes because he was in them (Senkou no Night Raid and Tatami Galaxy both of which I LOVED). Some of my favorite roles include Alellujah/Halellujah from Gundam 00, Bossun from Sket Dance, Ozu from Tatami Galaxy and Heisuke from Hakuouki.

I also have the softest spot for Suwabe Junichi. Why? Because one minute he's all cool and suave (Jun-nii from Sakamichi no Apollon and Archer from Fate/Stay Night) and the next he's the dorkiest and most adorable oniichan ever (Yaichiro from Uchouten Kazoku and Shuu from Kuragehime). Incidentally, if Yoshino and Suwabe are a killer combo for me. If they're in the same anime, I'm instantly gonna love it! (i.e, the Tatami Galaxy, Uchouten Kazoku and can't wait for Gangsta. because they're both in it!!!!)

I did not know Yoshino was Miles...that's interesting. Oh gosh Archer...I also didn't know he was voiced by Suwabe Junichi, I know Junichi from Bakuman but not much more of what he does. I learn something new all the time. It's so amazing to see some VA's able to go from suave to dork.

actually I do not really have a favorite voice actor anymore. I used to really like Paku Romi but got over that. I kind of like the voice of Wakamoto Norio too.

I only know Paku Romi because of Edward from FMA, but sadly I don't know anything else about her or Wakamoto Norio.

I love seiyuus ;; I have several favorites, though right now I'm really into Hosoya Yoshimasa! He's voiced pretty much all my favorites in sports shows lately. Besides him, I have a lot of special mentions: Sugita Tomokazu, Sakurai Takahiro, Suwabe Junichi among others are big favorites because they're very versatile actors who can voice all kinds of characters and still be recognisable ;w; I love that about them.

I know Hosoya Yoshimasa from No.6...mostly because I don't watch sport anime (until Dany shows me pictures and hooks me because they're pretty boys and I'm a sucker for pretty boys).
