THE MAZE TRIALS

Note: Many things came up unexpectedly for me in school and at work so this took me way longer than I originally predicted and expected. Due to this, the event will be extended until November 15th. Players will be able to play all games until November 8th and then the passwords post will go up. I'm sorry for the inconveniences!

More information about the event and attending with a partner: the Halloween event will include 4 posts with very special games. These games are a "choose your own adventure" type of thing (you can find the previous ones here, here and here!). I have coded a text, image and sound adventure in the website and you will be able to choose your options and based on this, it will branch out into a route. Once you reach the end of the route you will receive some rewards and a password. You may only play one route for the rewards and the password. I highly recommend that if you're playing with a partner, you choose different routes to follow. You may play all the routes for fun if you want.

Warning: Some images may contain potential scary stuff, but there are still not jumper moments, as far as I can tell. If you think you may be scared, it might work not to play this at night in a dark room with surround sound.

In each post with a link to the adventure, players will post a comment with which rewards they got from the game, which options they chose (for this game use the url name of the pages) and what password they received at the end of the route. Comments will be screened so others will not be able to see all the passwords available.

Now, what are those passwords for? At the end of the event you will be able to form a phrase with your passwords and a reward will be given based on this. If you are working with a partner, both will receive rewards based on the two phrases. There will also be another extra prize that all players can have an opportunity to get but you'll see what I'm talking about once the closing post is up. There might be some tricks or there might be some treats.

I'd like to participate in the event as well, but since I know where the passwords are, I will ask for help in which options to choose from. I will post a thread called "Joyce's route" and you'll be able to comment to it with a corner of the maze and I'll follow this suggestion to receive my rewards and password. This thread will be unscreened when players' comment to it so my options will be visible.

Is this thing on? Alright, here comes your host for tonight Okumura Rin! Woo, hey hey, cheer some! So, Joyce is out for the time being, and I'll be hosting these horrific games for the Halloween event. This time of the year we want to welcome you into the Pairings Horror-Fest Carnival by inviting you into our haunted house! You have to get checked at the entrance counter and get your ticket, though it's worth nothing, we want to know who you are and who you're coming with or if you're brave enough to wander these corridors solo.
