Well guys, it's the 31st so Prejoin officially ends today! This means ALL GAMES from the prejoin period are closed and all the comments posted after this entry won't be taken into account.
Thanks everyone who joined us during this period, I hope we can make it fun for you after the grand opening as well~
We reached both goals in the end, so that also deserves a thanks to all the players who helped us out with promoting and donations.

The Grand Opening event starts tomorrow. I hope you're as excited as I am! The regular games also start tomorrow, so please participate in those to get the game rolling! All the services open tomorrow! If you want to turn in anything, you can start on that as soon as the comments are enabled on all the services entries.
Deck Donations open again on April 5th and the release will be on April 7th, so keep an eye out for all these things.

I have updated the gamelist on the site if you want to take a look, though since none of the rounds have been posted, I'll add the actual links by next weekend. Sorry about the inconvenience. I also updated the Benefits entry, please read it carefully! That you understand the rules and guidelines is very important so there are no problems for you regarding this service in the future.

I have also read the answers to the survey posted on the previous update and I took all of your answers into account for my decision:

1. Most players seem to not worry too much about official art being spoilery and some even explained that it could be one of the few available images it could be used for a pairing so these will be treated on individual cases. For now, I will only put a small note on the masteries post so that players have some conscience about how spoilery the image can be and I also encourage players to consult either me or Joyce if they're not sure about how much of a spoiler it can be because I don't mind allowing it, but I would prefer to avoid trouble in the future if new players join and they complain that the master bagdes for other players contain spoilers.

2. After a lot of thinking, I have decided to use only two symbols for deck collecting and deck mastering: so we'll stick to slash (/) for romantic pairings and dash (-) for non-romantic and same deck collecting unless the player states they want to collect as romantic. The reason for this is because some players made me realize using more than two symbols could be confusing and then I would have to make a legend of symbols so everyone knew what to use in what case... honestly, that seemed overly complicated. The reason why I picked dash over the ampersand (&) is because the majority of commenters seemed to gravitate more towards that option. I will also make a note on this on the masteries post for when people decide on their next collecting deck and on the sign up post for when people pick their starting deck.
I would appreciate if those who would like to make changes about their collecting deck symbol on the members page let me know now! If you would make evident that the deck you're collecting is non-romantic, please tell me and I will change the symbol accordingly!

Today is fandom talk! I would like to know your opinion about fanfics and other fandom-related activities (fanart, cosplay, doujinshi, fanmixes, blogs, roleplay, etc)! Do you like them/dislike them? Do you contribute to fandom with any of these acitivities? Feel free to list the various ways you have contributed to fandom in the past and even link stuff if you feel like it! If by chance you don't participate in fandom-related activities besides TCGs, you can list your reasons, too! For those who don't know, shiritori is pretty much a word chain. I'll start with a word (or phrase) and the next person has to start his word with the last letter on my word. Simple, right?
Here's an example: if I say "chair" the next comment should say something like "run" and the next would be "nose" and so on. Please read the rules and the theme notes carefully! If you have any question, PM me!

Today Pairings brings you the delicious game of True or False! Even if your unsure of the answer, it's a 50-50 gamble, so what's the harm in trying it out! For answering correctly you will get 2 random cards. However, I'm going to give you a chance to earn yourself an extra card.

If the answer is true, I also would like you to provide me with the series name! If it's false, correct the sentence to make it true, and you'll get yourself 1 more random card, bringing the total to 3 random cards.

Hello everyone at Pairings! Here's day 6 of pre-join, ready to get everyone pumped up.

For today's round let's do something exciting and hopefully easy! Just as the game name suggests, you just have to go and do a quick ol' google search or maybe something a bit more sophisticated... who knows, it all depends on you! What I request is that you bring a picture that fits the theme I will give you: Childhood Friends! Now go and start your hunt!

Before you leave, and frantically start typing in another tab, keep a couple of things in mind please~
-The picture can feature either a pair or a group of people! They don't need to be boy-girl either, anything that fits the theme will be allowed. It also needs to be official artwork.
-Please don't hotlink to websites that won't show me the image or I'll have to ask you to provide a new link! It will also take longer for you to get your rewards.
-Characters/Groups are not allowed to be repeated! Read what other people have submitted before clicking on that reply button.
-Don't post the image code, post it as a link to the image! Label your link including the names of the characters in the pictures and the series they come from.

For today we have something that I hope it's not too difficult, a word scramble! I'll give six words including 4 animes, 1 manga and 1 videogame series and you'll have to unscramble the titles to get cards!

Hello, guys! We've made it to 25 members in 5 days, that makes me really happy! I want to remind everyone that we still want to get 40 decks from donations this month, so help us out! I also need to inform everyone that I made some light changes to the rules for graphics and deck donations, so read those again. Now, onto the game!

We have already reached the 19 21 members mark in only 2 days, I’m really happy about this and I want to thank all the members who promoted the TCG with their friends and in any other places. Prejoin games start today! We'll be hosting a number of games for prejoiners only for the next two weeks, I really hope you enjoy this event and get lots of cards while we prepare for the grand opening event!

We'll be posting a new game each day and all games will be open until prejoin ends in March 31st! Prizes will be given out throughout the prejoin period and the more games you participate in, the more cards you can get!
Some games with screened comments will be open throughout the whole period, so in this entry you can leave a comment for your prize collection and mods will hand you your prizes here for rounds with screened comments!
